Welcome — read this before writing your first post

  • Click New to add a row.
  • Type the Title — this is the only required field.
  • Pick a Category from the dropdown.
  • Write the post right here in the page body, in plain text/markdown.
  • Add an Excerpt (one sentence, used as the preview/meta description) — optional.
  • Add a Publish Date — optional, if left blank the site falls back to whenever the post was created.
  • When it's ready to go live, change Status from Draft to Published. Nothing shows on the site until you do this.

    • That's it. There's no slug to type, no formatting to break — the website reads straight from this database and generates the URL from the Title automatically.
